Baby Clothing Purchase Guide
Before the baby was born, mothers started to stock up in large quantities, such as milk powder bottles, wet urine, baby cot supplies, clothing, etc. Each item was selected by mothers after considering it thousands of times, and comparing goods. The whole process is complex and laborious, and it can be described as a university question.
1.Know your clothes size
Every baby is unique and has different developmental conditions. Some babies are fatter, some babies are taller, and some babies grow faster. But the baby’s development is about the same at every age. So novice mothers must learn to look at the size of clothes first.
2.Buy less
Do not buy a lot of clothing, especially newborn babies. Because the baby grows very fast, one sample a day. If you buy too much, you can’t put on a lot of clothes and just sit idle. And before the baby is born, mothers do not know the baby’s actual height and weight.
3.Buy a bigger one
Baby clothing should be at least one size larger. Just buy a few pieces of clothing for 0-3 months, and buy more for 6-9 months. Buying large clothes will not only make your baby feel more comfortable, but also reduce costs. When wearing large clothes, you can roll up the cuffs and trouser legs.
4.Fabric is soft
When choosing clothes, the softness of the fabric cannot be ignored. Newborns’ skin is especially delicate and sensitive. Experts suggest that cotton clothing is best, followed by cotton blends. Organic fabrics are softer and more comfortable than other fabrics, but they are more expensive. The labels of clothes are usually sewn on the back of the collar and removed as much as possible to avoid irritating the baby’s skin and causing rash.
5. Easy to put on and take off
Many baby clothes on the market are dazzling, and the way they wear them is strange, with straps, buttons, zippers, velcros and more. Who has the time to tie so many straps and buckle so many buttons? And so many buttons, straps, velcros … will the baby be comfortable? In contrast, a moderate amount of hidden buckles is the best.
6 .security
Try not to have accessories on your baby’s clothing. These accessories can cause suffocation, such as buttons, beads, bows, and so on. If these accessories are present on your baby’s clothing, pull them to see if they are easy to fall off.
In addition, the silk straps on the clothes should not be too long. Babies like to grab them to avoid suffocation around the neck and entangle hands and feet. Check that the drawstrings on your baby’s clothing are sewn securely, and that the length of the pull-outs on both ends must not exceed 7 cm.
Of course, there are many more things to pay attention to. For the safety and health of the baby, parents should pay more attention!
